A new chapter for Tectubi Raccordi on the road to Europe's nuclear future
The day of 25 June 2026 marked a strategic milestone for Tectubi Raccordi on its journey toward the new European nuclear landscape. In Le Cannet, during the France–Italy Economic Forum, we experienced a day that placed industrial dialogue between the two countries at the centre of a high-level institutional and political setting.
Underlining the importance of the event was the presence of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and French President Emmanuel Macron, who attended directly after the nearby summit in Antibes. Among the other distinguished guests were Adolfo Urso, Italy's Minister for Business and Made in Italy; Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister for the Environment and Energy Security; and Maud Bregeon, French Minister in charge of Industry and Energy.
In this setting, our President Valter Alberici signed a Declaration of Interest together with the EDF Group and other international partners. More than a formal act, it represents a shared commitment to collaborate on the development of SMR – Small Modular Reactors technologies, one of the most promising frontiers of Europe's new nuclear sector.
It was a moment that gave substance to a path built over time—one grounded in industrial excellence, innovation, and specialised expertise. A step that confirms Tectubi Raccordi's role in major European and international nuclear programmes, while opening new opportunities in a sector that is set to become increasingly strategic for the continent’s energy autonomy.
